RD Scorer Units

The RotoMetrics RD Scorer Unit is a self-contained scorer that simply bolts on to your press in whatever location you feel is most advantageous.

And because it's not gear driven and requires no power from the press—a RotoMetrics exclusive feature—our RD Scorer can replace adjustable scoring tools that already operate within one of your die cutting stations. That frees your station for other die cutting or laminating jobs, giving your press added versatility and profitability.

Features:

• Consists of an anvil roll, cutting blades, blade holders, mounting shaft for blades and mounting brackets for the unit
• Includes three fully hardened tool steel blades and blade holders; more may be added as an option
• Blades can be refinished; replacements are a stock item and are available for immediate delivery
• A variety of perf blades are also available

Advantages:

• Unit is self-contained—requires no gear or power from the press
• Bolt-on mounting brackets allow for flexible placement
• Replaces adjustable scoring tools used in die stations
• Cutting blades are fully adjustable across the web (center to center across minimum dimension is .750" - 19 mm)
• Depth of cut can be easily adjusted on each blade by turning an adjustment screw on each blade holder
